About Influence
Patti Dalsin
Patti joined Influence in 2008. After receiving a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta she taught in the Alberta public system for 24 years. The Kids with Influence program was the perfect opportunity to meld her facilitating, mentoring and organizational skills to work with children in a new way. Consequently, Patti believes that encasing self-respect and respect of others around individual learning styles is an effective approach to learning. Whether speaking with adults or children, Patti incorporates humour and ardor when conveying the Influence philosophy.
Teaching full time and raising two sons has given Patti many opportunities to be involved with young people. Patti's knowledge of curriculum and effective delivery styles have helped her to co-create the programs for Kids with Influence. Her professional and personal experiences have given Patti the proficiency to facilitate the programs offered by Influence with assurance.
Volunteering has always been a part of Patti's life. Currently, she volunteers with the Walk In Closet in Calgary. She assists women in finding appropriate attire for the workplace as well as providing seminars on professionalism.
As a facilitator of respect, professionalism and confidence, Patti passionately delivers this unique message through a multi-sensory, interactive approach.
