The unit, Career and Life Choices, in the Alberta Health Curriculum focuses on managing personal life choices. Calmfidence™ compliments the mandatory CALM program taught in Alberta High Schools.

These programs are interactive, multi-sensory and engaging.

How do you make a great first impression?
Participants will gain knowledge on how to consistently stay on a course of respect and authenticity. Students will be given tools to create lasting positive impressions, preparing them for any opportunity or challenge that may arise.

Some of the topics that will be discussed are:

  • Respecting time
  • Being prepared
  • Deleting negativity and gossip
  • Accountability, ownership and responsiblity
  • Understanding the power of appearance

Conversability

Do presentations, speeches, interviews = sweaty palms, a dry mouth, butterflies?
Conversability™ will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and tools to clearly and confidently articulate their message.

  • Steps to clear communication
  • Choosing respectful language
  • Managing difficult conversations

Through the Creating an Engaging Individual Brand™ workshop, participants will have an opportunity to examine and discover their core values and principles. Participants of all ages can learn Calmfidence™ which enables a consistent, positive attitude.
